Um Pressuposto que encontra sua base metodol\u00f3gica na an\u00e1lise comparativa de acordos comerciais celebrados pelos Estados Unidos nos \u00faltimos 20 anos. A natureza qualitativa da metodologia que adotaremos no trabalho est\u00e1 ligada ao prop\u00f3sito da pesquisa em promover uma microan\u00e1lise do processo causal do fen\u00f4meno.
